This is not the classic Aldehyde C-11 Undecylenic as seen in Chanel No 5 . Aldehyde C-11 Undecylic opens with a clean, waxy-soapy burst that immediately evokes fresh laundry and citrus peel. An effervescent orange brightness runs through the middle, accompanied by subtle green and faintly floral undertones. The overall character is brighter and more citrus-focused than the heavier lower aldehydes. Use this as the aldehydic backbone of citrus colognes and soapy-fresh compositions. It adds instant radiance and diffusion to floral hearts without the green-rose character of its Undecylenic cousin.
