Blackcurrant bud absolute has a powerful, tangy fruit note with a very characteristic ammoniac "cat pee" nuance, alongside spicy-woody and green minty-sulfurous facets. This variant from LMR is the very best classic extract of pure Burgundy blackcurrant buds. We also offer a very special molecular distilled version also from LMR. Use this material as a powerful modifier in trace amounts (often <1% of concentrate) to add sparkling, naturalistic effects. Its exceptional ability to lift florals makes it invaluable for preventing heavy white florals from becoming too indolic.
