Brahmanol smells of rich, creamy sandalwood with a warm musky glow underneath — soft, enveloping, and remarkably close to santalol, the heart of natural Mysore oil. It lacks the delicate floral top of the real thing, but that creamy, skin-like warmth is unmistakable, and a touch of hindinol can be used to fill that gap. Brahmanol lasts over 400 hours on a blotter. Use it as the foundation of sandalwood accords, either alone at high concentrations or blended with other sandalwood materials for a more complete picture.
