Sometimes you need natural floralisation that sits calmly in a blend without dominating. Ylang-ylang III is perfect for that. It has the lowest amount of top note volatiles so instead of a penetrating fruity oil you get a softer almost heart-note-only product. This is also a cost effective ylang-ylang oil that works especially well in modern fragrances that rely on very subtle nuances. It works quietly but surely in the background. In ylang-ylang production terms, the “superior” oil is taken during the first few minutes of steam distilled extraction, giving the fruitiest and most ethereal top notes.
