As it develops, it reveals a subtle, woody undertone that adds depth and complexity without overwhelming the other notes. This material is particularly effective in enhancing floral compositions, providing a smooth transition between bright top notes and richer base notes. It pairs well with other florals like jasmine and rose, as well as with fruity notes to create a rounded, harmonious blend. The typical usage range is from 0.010% to 1.06%, with most formulas using around 0.070%.
