This is a very fine quality of lentisque (mastic) oil from LMR. It is a top note herbaceous oil with a terpenic and almost cascarilla-like quality. Wonderful in colognes for a unique top note, this material blends very well with Galbanum oil. The strikingly unique scent of mastic oil conjures up images of antiquity — its rituals, traditions, and the warm sun-soaked breeze of the Aegean sea.
