Iralia ® is the very pinnacle of Firmenich perfection in methyl ionone products. It was first synthesised at the turn of the 20th century alongside Cyclosia ®, the finest quality of hydroxycitronellal which we also stock. Iralia's first use, and perhaps still its finest, was as a 25% overdose in L'Origan (1908) by Coty where it couples with Dianthine , the famed De Laire carnation base.
