Isoeugenol, the classic clove-like basenote, is highly restricted and so other avenues are needed to give a long lasting carnation dry down to a scent. Enter Methyl Diantilis®. This chemical mirrors much of the effects of its older cousin but with the added advantages of greater stability and less susceptibility to discolouration. Methyl Diantilis works brilliantly in both the heart and base of a fragrance, enhancing florals, vanilla and spicy blends.
