Canthoxal is a light anise aroma chemical with facets of liquorice and a very delicate wateriness. Canthoxal blends beautifully with Armoise Oil , Basil Oil, Spanish Anise Oil, Toscanol, Anisic Aldehyde (and others members of the same family). Canthoxal has the very rare distinction of having had its IFRA limit considerably liberalised in the latest standard, going from 0.82% to the much larger 2.5%. — Fraterworks
