Exaltenone® is one of the classic synthetic musks, valued for its ability to enhance the diffusion, depth, and longevity of a fragrance. Some perfumers even consider it superior to muscone (and muscone laevo), the natural musk ketone found in deer musk. Traces are all you need to get a real boost but this can be an overdose musk.
