CAS: 106-24-1

Geraniol is one of the four most common rose alcohols (along with phenyl ethyl alcohol , nerol and citronellol), present in all rose varieties. Geraniol Extra BASF, with > 98% purity, is the premium non-natural form of this material and makes an excellent cost-effective alternative to the more expensive natural isolate . For anything but the most luxurious fragrances and natural blends, we recommend this product over the natural. As well as forming a key part of a rose complex, geraniol adds freshness and lift to fragrances. It blends beautifully with Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol , Citronellol 98, Rose Oxide Laevo , and Rhodinol ex Geranium Bourbon . — Fraterworks
