Habanolide® is considered a metallic or hot iron musk. It is a macrocyclic musk of the highest quality by Firmenich, indispensable and certainly irreplaceable (though Globalide® by Symrise is frequently touted as such, but that does have its differences). Habanolide® is a radiant musk which adds freshness and vitality. Habanolide® has featured in numerous modern scents.
