Firmenich's Hercolyn® D is a high quality deodorised version of hydrogenated pine resin. It is extremely viscous and light amber in colour. This virtually odourless material is a wonderful fixative and blender and finds many uses in fragrances and bases. Its very thick nature makes it excellent for adding body and texture to dilutions. This material has been used successfully in Guerlain's recent efforts to enrich and extend IFRA compliant oakmoss in combination with Mastic Absolute for use in their reformulations of their classic fragrance Mitsouko (1919). Note: Formerly we were selling this under the name Hercolyn® DW. — Fraterworks
