Isoraldeine 70 is the workhorse grade of Givaudan's alpha-isomethyl ionone line — 70% purity, which means roughly 30% of the mixture consists of other methyl ionone isomers. Those additional isomers are not waste; they contribute a woodier, drier, more leathery character that some perfumers actually prefer. This is not a lesser Isoraldeine 95 — it is a different tool. We also sell Methyl Ionone Alpha Extra as the direct equivalent of Isoraldeine 70. Same molecule, same purity tier, same olfactive profile.
