Okoumal smells of warm, dry wood wrapped in soft amber and snuff. It is not loud — in fact, some people cannot smell it at all in isolation. But add it to a composition and the effect is unmistakable: warmth, volume, and richness appear from nowhere. This is one of those rare materials that works by stealth. Use it at low doses to fill out woody and amber bases, adding body and expensive-smelling roundness.
