Vetiveryl Acetate (and related Vetiver Acetate ) is one of the most popular zizanoides products which is frequently blended with fine vetiver oils for a softening effect or used on its own as a fresh, long lasting and clean vetiver note. There are two types of the acetate: Vetiver Acetate and Vetiveryl Acetate. The first is produced from Vetiverol (a mix of vetiver alcohols) which is extracted from the Vetiver roots prior to the acetylation process.
