As a modifier to the ionone family they are unsurpassed by synthetics. From traces (in fragrances such as L'Origan by Coty) to overdoses of nearly 1% pure in 1000 by Jean Patou (formula below), violet leaves contribute a magical quality that simply can't be replicated.
