It smells remarkably natural for a synthetic material. Use it as a background ingredient to smooth and round assertive herbal oils like thyme, lavender, and rosemary. It calms their spikier edges and adds body and coherence to green accords. Combined with citrus oils, it brings crisp, natural-smelling greenness that lifts the whole composition.
