Ethyl Safranate is a powerful and diffusive fruity rose aroma chemical this is not exploited anywhere near as much as it should be. Where the rose ketones end, Ethyl Safranate begins. With no restriction at all from IFRA and a scent profile like a more characterful damascone delta meets damascone alpha, this material deserves to be front and centre in more contemporary fragrances. Blends with Persicol are sublime and exploit its fruity side. Its bashful minty side can be extended and enhanced with touches of Peppermint Oil “Black Mitcham”, or use it to add a sultry Saffron note to a damascone rich rose base.
